Change Plate Storage units are sold in singles, if you want a pair you must order two.

The 1″ option comes with one 1″ bolt, one 1″ washer, one 1″ lock washer and one 1″ nut. The 5/8″ option comes with one 5/8″ bolt, one 5/8″ washer, one 5/8″ lock washer and one 5/8″ nut.

The Unit has one 1" hole and two 5/8" holes which are spaced 4" apart, the storage fingers on the back also keep the change plate storage from rotating.

The Change Plate Storage has been a popular storage solution for our customers as it allows them to store all 3 kinds of change plates as well as clips, bands and other miscellaneous items.

This is the second version, the original had 1 peg up top for 2.5's and 2 pegs below for 5's and 10's we found that some brand plates cannot fit both 5 and 10 LBS plates next to each other so we flipped it upside down and now recommend to put the 10 LBS plates on bottom and the 2.5's and 5's on top.

Features 2 storage fingers on the back which are angled up at 3 degrees for more secure storage of clips, bands, chains, straps or any other item under 50 LBS.

The change plates storage allows you to store more weights without taking up as much space on the post, with two of the 3 pegs being off to the side of the rack post it leaves more holes above it open compared to using 3 separate pegs to store change plates.

One Change plate comes with the ST Alpha Half rack but the STR and MG Package have 2 change plate storages per rack.

A very clever design.

I was looking for a better way to more efficiently store my weights on my rack.  I saw a similar one on the Sorinex site but also saw this one on a video from Gluck's gym on Youtube. After comparing the pictures and prices I went with the Straydog one. To say I was pleased is a definite understatement. Paint and welds were perfect. The design is well thought out. I have a REP PR-5000 rack and it fit perfectly.  Even the 1" bolt was top shelf quality.  One thing I really appreciated on this design, that they don't really mention in the description is that they angled the posts up ever so slightly which is so nice. It's  just well thought out and expertly made.  Thanks Straydog! PS as someone else said the bolt from Straydog is true 1" where REP is 36mm.  A 36mm socket won't work but if you have two adjustable wrenches Straydog gives you the bolt, lock washer and oversized washer so all you need is the wrenches.

Solid piece 

Super useful! If you own a PR 5000, be aware that this hardware is actually a little larger than the hardware on the rack. You'll need a larger socket attachment to secure it. Or you can just use extra PR 5000 bolts, that's what I did.

Quality Space Saving Option

Simple but really smart. I have a Rogue half rack and space is at a premium. With this, I can store my 2 1/2s, 5s, and 10s on the cross members in much less space than using standard weight horns. Quality is great and it worked just fine with 5/8 holes. If you want more room on your rack to store other attachments, this is a no-brainer.

Brilliant design, solid materials

Great product from another great Ohio equipment company. This triad design for change plate storage is unique, and a real space saver. Material quality is top notch. Pegs on the back are a perfect place to collect all the wayward collars. You have to get a set of these!
